This is my first attempt at matte painting. I usually work in 3D, but I was feeling a little burned out on it, so I decided to try something new. I wanted to do something that was completely a fantasy piece. I've had this Idea of floating islands with a city built on top of it. In all honesty, It's pretty hard to pull off a realistic look with islands floating in the air. My girlfriend hates the piece. The verdict for whether I like it myself is still up in the air. Crits are welcome.
